On top of picking faces for magazines like V and Japanese Vogue, Joos has been documenting the covetable vintage collections of designers, stylists and other fashionable young things on her influential blog for the past 18 months. “I like to immerse myself in the psyche and lifestyle of the girls I shoot. It is time to reveal the new campaign for Autumn/Winter 2011!

Every day this week we will be releasing a new image from the Symphony Autumn/Winter 2011 Creative Campaign…

This season is particularly special to us because October marks Symphony’s One Year Anniversary – some of you may remember that the first ever Symphony campaign for Autumn/Winter 2010 featured the stunning Raina Hein from America’s Next Top Model. Therefore it seemed only fitting to shoot with Raina again for Autumn/Winter 2011 one year on. However, this season we wanted to do something a bit different and include a second model – two models, after all, equals more clothes and more fashion! With this in mind, our new campaign also features the lovely Alden Steimle – the blonde to Raina’s brunette.
When brainstorming for the new Autumn/Winter season many moons ago we kept coming back to the concept of two best friends spending a girly weekend together that turns magical…. We explored this theme by using subtle surrealist elements; hundreds of lace covered balloons, lots of romantic candles, twinkling fairy lights and a big blown up dusky pink Symphony emblem which can be seen in the background of some of the shots. We really wanted to have fun with this campaign and believe the images are a great representation of who the Symphony Woman is; fun, intelligent, beautiful and enigmatic.

We really hope you love the campaign as much as we do! A new image will be posted each day on the Symphony Facebook and Twitter so make sure you join in with the fun. We can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
