Hi there, i'm loving your blog! I have a request….I have an event coming up and I need to wear a gorgeous evening gown. But i have a problem and that is my arms! I don't want to show them off and i'm having trouble finding beautiful designs with sleeves that WONT make me look top heavy. Please help!

We enjoy having you here :) First of all I would like to point out that dressing is all about confidence and style is really your inner-beauty coming out – so no matter whether you are pencil thin, curvy and proud or a mixture of both, you will look fab in anything you want as long as you wear it with a smile and confidence! However, we could all use a little help from time to time, and anyone who feels top heavy would benefit from pairing an evening gown with a shrug or pashmina to cover the problem area; we have some amaze-ing fur shrugs in the Symphony Showroom by J.Mendel Spring/Summer 2010. Alternatively, Bodyamr have created some beautiful gowns exclusively for Symphony and many of them are both long in the sleeves and full length. There are some stunning bright kaftans with Swarovski detailing; and the great thing is no-one else will have one! The idea is to accentuate the parts of your body you love and subtly camouflage those you don't love as much! You should come and pay us a visit; we are only 5 minutes away from the Dubai Mall!
