ALESSANDRA RICH SPRING/SUMMER 2013

Born in Italy and London‐based, Alessandra Rich is a fashion designer who works from a showroom in Mount Street and an atelier close to Venice. With no formal training within the fashion industry, she officially launched her label in Spring/Summer 2010 at the Paris Fashion Week. Rejecting trends and believing in a new concept of femininity: clever, cheeky and self‐confident. Alessandra Rich creates long dresses that combine a natural, sexy nonchalance with an edgy and ironic slant. For Spring/Summer 2013, Rich imagined two Russian girls, even naming them Olga and Irina, and providing them with a back-story that saw the merging of the iconic Russian female gymnast and the iconic Russian jet-set glamour girl.
